Can I book a table? Yes. You can book by calling 01903 369618, this number redirects to an answerphone and mobile phone, alternatively you can email us on info@salsavivacantina.com
Is Salsa Viva Cantina family-friendly? Yes. We welcome families and offer children’s meals, which include free juice and ice cream.
What are your opening hours? Our normal opening days are: Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 530pm. Opening and food-service times can change, particularly around Christmas and other special periods, so please check before travelling.
How long is my table booking? Tables for 2 are normally allocated for 1.5 hours. Tables for 4 & 6 are normally allocated for 2 hours. If you need longer, please discuss this with us when making your booking.
How long will you hold my table? We hold tables for 10 minutes after the booking time. After that, the table may be released.
What if I need to cancel? Please call us as soon as possible and, where possible, no later than midday on the day of your booking so that we can offer the table to someone else.

We’re particularly known for our fresh Mexican street food, tacos, burritos, homemade tortilla chips (totopos), fresh salsa, margaritas, colourful atmosphere and friendly service. But don’t just take our word for it - come and see what you think.
Is Salsa Viva Cantina an independent restaurant? Yes, Salsa Viva Cantina is an independent Mexican restaurant. We started life as a street food stall before coming to our current home on the High Street.
Is the food freshly made? Yes, our dishes are prepared daily and cooked to order using fresh ingredients and locally produced and sourced ingredients wherever possible.
Do you make homemade tortillas (totopos)? We are known by customers for our homemade tortilla chips and fresh Mexican food. Our menu and preparation change from time to time, so please ask us if you have a particular dish or ingredient in mind.
Do you have vegetartian and vegan food? Yes, we have vegetarian and vegan choices on the menu.
Do you offer gluten-free food? Yes. Most of our menu is gluten-free. Corn based tacos and totopos and our Naked burritos are very popular. If you have an allergy or severe intolerance, please speak to us before ordering so that we can advise you about the current menu and preparation.
Do you serve cocktails? Yes. Cocktails and margaritas are part of the Salsa Viva Cantina experience.
Do you serve Mexican beer? Yes. We serve bottled Mexican beer alongside other drinks.
